'Gillian Althea' is een dubbelbloemige fuchsia die erg rechtop groeit, een wat stijve plant. De NKvF regio Friesland had hem in 2003 als "Floraliaplant", op 15 maart werden de stekjes aan de aanwezige leden uitgereikt op de voorjaarsvergadering. Mijn eigen plant was niet buitengewoon mooi, evengoed heb ik hem als één van de slechts zes inzendingen laten beoordelen op de "keuring" op 29 augustus, ditmaal bij onze voorzitter Jan de Boer thuis. |
'Gillian Althea' is a double upright-growing fuchsia, a rather stiff plant.
The Friesian Branch of the Dutch Fuchsia Society (NKvF) had chosen this cultivar as the "Floralia-plant" for 2003, all members present at the spring-meeting on the 15th of March received a cutting. My plant wasn't exactly the best one I've ever grown, nevertheless I brought it in as one of the only six entries for examination on the 29th of August, at our chairman Jan de Boer's home. |
