'Jaspers White Pipes' is a rather new fuchsia, a triphylla with racemes of whitepink pipes.
It is part of a whole series of more or less similar fuchsias by the Dutch hybridizer Hans van Aspert, some (near)white, others red or orange, and all examined in 2013, of which the almost white 'Phileine', also the best-known, seems to be the crown on this collection; before there hardly existed any white fuchsias of the triphylla-type, the only name known to me was 'Our Ted', from 1987 already, which I never saw in reality.
I took these photos on a fuchsiashow at the National Meeting of the Dutch Fuchsia Society in 2013, when the plant was brandnew.

Because 'Jaspers Unbelievable', another near-white fuchsia in this series, for a short while was chosen as the Floralia-fuchsia voor 2019, I put this interesting sister-seedling also on the website. There are some significant differences in spite of the same parentage, but the tube of 'Jaspers White Pipes' has red-and-white stripes and is red at the top near the ovary, and the bud is more pointed than the one of 'Jaspers Unbelievable', which has a pale-pink tube and a more obtuse flowerbud; striking are the cute red tips at the sepal-ends of 'Jaspers White Pipes', bearing not really the right name because its flowers are the least white among the four (half)sisterplants.
