Primula elatior (Primulaceae)

Deze primula lijkt het meest op een gekweekte "slanke sleutelbloem" zoals de wilde variant wordt genoemd. De plant wordt in vele kleuren gekweekt, maar de oorspronkelijke kleur is geel.

This primrose looks most like a cultivated "Oxlip" as it is called in English. The plant is cultivated in many colours, but its original colour is yellow.

The meaning of the old Dutch word "Aanvalligheid" is "Loveliness".
